Personal Injury
Linda Yen Fox
Senior Associate Solicitor
My job as a personal injury lawyer means that I can support my clients from the start and continue this support throughout the claim to help them achieve the best possible outcome at the end of their case.
Get to know Linda
I joined Slater and Gordon in 2007 when I qualified as a solicitor. I’m currently a senior associate solicitor and a team leader, specialising in claims involving injuries sustained in road traffic accidents and also across a range of personal injury areas including public liability, occupiers' liability and employers' liability.
In addition, I handle many cases concerning serious and life-changing injury as well as those involving fatalities. Many of the cases I’ve worked on have involved catastrophic brain injury, amputation and fatalities and have seen compensation settlements of six and seven figures.
I spend my day helping those whose lives have suddenly changed as a result of serious injury. I recognise that they need immediate help, support and assistance, both with access to treatment and with the legal process.
Career highlights
I have many career highlights but most recently, I achieved a seven figure lump sum settlement, including PPO payments, for a male who sustained multiple injuries, including an above the knee amputation and a traumatic brain injury.
Also, I acted for a tetraplegic client and helped to achieve an early settlement which prevented the need for him to go through a stressful court trial.
The extra mile
I'm a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). I'm also the lead lawyer for the firm’s legal panel membership with charity, Aftermath.
I also deliver regular legal training to Police Family Liaison Officers and charities.
