Flexible working

Since April 2003, there has existed a right to request flexible working from your employer if you meet the eligibility criteria. This does not give a right to work flexibly, but it does mean that your employer has to consider your request properly. It is also important to note that since April 2007, there has been a right to request flexible working for carers of adults. The right to request is the same as that for caring for children.
