2017 Yamaha SCR950 Scrambler
Yamaha Announces Big-Bore Scrambler for 2017
Yamaha is jumping into the scrambler market for 2017 with a variation on its extremely popular Bolt cruiser.
The SCR950 uses the Bolt’s 942 cc, air-cooled, 4-valves per cylinder, 60° V-twin engine – a good choice given its reliability and broad power delivery.
Fitted with a flangeless teardrop tank, retro inspired graphics with matching number plates, wide handlebars with crossbar, and block pattern tires mounted on lightweight aluminum spoked wheels, the SCR950 takes visual cues from Yamaha’s past; In particular, I’m reminded of the SR family and the many custom scrambler conversions that have been produced over recent years.
Retail price in Canada is set at $10,199 and you can find all of the details by clicking here.
