BMW Motorrad Canada Launches R18 Custom Projects
BMW Motorrad Canada has selected three builders across Canada to customize the new R18 throughout this 2022 winter. The Project motorcycles are scheduled to be unveiled in Spring of 2022.
This is BMW Canada’s first-ever custom project, partnering with three incredibly talented builders from across Canada to build their own unique custom using the R18 Base.
The Selected builders are Jay Donovan from Victoria, BC (@_jay_donovan_), Konquer Motorcycles from Kelowna, British Columbia (@konquermotorcycles) and Augment Motorworks from Toronto, Ontario (@augmentmotorworks).
“The R 18 is such a unique bike and allows for full customization. We had to build an exciting project around it that focused on design and build,” said Johann von Balluseck, Director of BMW Motorrad Canada. “We chose builders that would approach this project in very different ways, hopefully giving us three very different styles.”
The only requirement given to the builders is that the motorcycle remain operational and road legal. All three motorcycles will be revealed this coming Spring and will be included in a national dealer tour in the Summer of 2022.
